We spent our Christmas holidays in a charming farmhouse that offered a rural feel yet was only a short walk away from the town. the hosts were very hospitable and offered excellent tips on the best places to visit in the area. the homemade French breakfast was delightful, particularly the croissants and jam. the farmhouse was beautifully decorated, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, complete with excellent bathroom facilities. We appreciated the high-speed Wi-Fi that allowed us to stay connected with our loved ones. the golden dog was friendly and added to the homely atmosphere.

The soundproofing in the farmhouse was inadequate, and the thin stud walls made it challenging to sleep as we could hear noises from the adjacent rooms and bathrooms. the restaurant options around the farmhouse were limited, but we found an acceptable creperie and pizzeria in the town that offered great value.
